Overview
The Hannibal HMR-120V is a 125VDC modular rectifier and battery charger that provides a stabilized 25A to 100A DC supply for switchgear, substations and utility control systems. Its high-frequency commutated (IGBT) switch-mode modules deliver high efficiency and high power density in a compact 19” rack or cabinet, and combined with a stand-by battery they form a dependable DC power supply that protects critical 125V control and protection loads.
Hot-swappable modules in an N+1 redundant arrangement allow live replacement and keep mean time to repair low, while fully digital control reduces component count and improves reliability with an MTBF exceeding 300,000 hours. Built-in intelligent battery management, temperature-compensated charging, a battery test function and a battery low-voltage disconnect (LVD) maximise battery health, and a time-stamped alarm & event logger records every event. Operators configure and calibrate all parameters from the front-panel HMI, with RS485, TCP, SNMP and GSM communication for full remote supervision.
