The Hannibal HR Series is a complete family of industrial rectifiers and battery chargers that convert alternating current (AC) into clean, regulated direct current (DC) for the most demanding industrial applications. Built on a thyristor-controlled rectifier platform with fast DSP control and a galvanic isolation transformer, every HR Series unit delivers a reliable DC power supply while keeping a stand-by battery charged — protecting critical loads from the damaging effects of power interruptions and providing a true backup and uninterrupted DC supply.
Single-phase models (HR-1P) cover 10A to 500A and three-phase models (HR-3P) extend from 10A up to 2500A, with nominal outputs of 24VDC, 48VDC, 110VDC, 125VDC, 220–240VDC and 400VDC. Across the range, voltage regulation and output ripple are held below 1%, automatic float, equalize and boost charge modes maximise battery life, and B2C / B6C / B12C (2-, 6- and 12-pulse) topologies — plus an IGBT option — let users tune total harmonic distortion (THDi) and power factor for each site.
Designed for high reliability and a long system lifetime of 20+ years, HR Series chargers operate in harsh environments and high ambient temperatures, support a wide range of maintenance-free and vented batteries (OPzS, OPzV, VRLA, Ni-Cd, Li-Ion, Calcium-Ion, Sodium-Ion, Gel, AGM, lead-acid and valve-regulated types from brands such as EnerSys and Exide), and offer comprehensive monitoring through RS232 / RS485 Modbus communication, dry contact alarm relays and a front-panel LCD display.
