110V DC Single-Phase Industrial Battery Charger (10A–500A)
Overview
The Hannibal HR-1P-110V is a single-phase 110VDC industrial battery charger and rectifier rated from 10A to 500A, designed to supply the auxiliary loads, switchgear and protection relays of electrical substations. It maintains a stable 110V DC bus for SCADA, control, tripping and signalling circuits, while a standby battery guarantees power backup for substations even during a complete loss of the AC mains.
Engineered for the harshest substation conditions, the unit combines a galvanic isolation transformer with a thyristor-controlled (B6C / 6-pulse) bridge and DSP control to achieve voltage regulation below 1%, low output ripple and a high power factor of 0.9 to 0.99 with the appropriate front end. Float, equalize and boost charge modes keep the battery healthy, while earth leakage monitoring (OPS-02) and DC earth fault detection safeguard the distribution network. Dual battery charger and DC load sharing arrangements are available for utility-grade redundancy.
Key features
- 110VDC single-phase output, 10A to 500A, for substation and switchgear DC systems.
