110V DC Three-Phase Battery Charger for Substation & Switchgear (10A–2500A)

Overview

The Hannibal HR-3P-110V is a three-phase 110VDC battery charger and rectifier rated from 10A to 2500A, engineered to provide high-reliability power supply and battery charging for substations and switchgear. It feeds the protection relays, SCADA, control and tripping circuits of electrical substations and, combined with a stand-by battery, guarantees power backup for substations, SCADA and switchgear even during a total AC outage.

Three-phase input and 6-pulse (B6C) or 12-pulse (B12C) thyristor-controlled topologies with DSP control deliver high power with low THDi, while a galvanic isolation transformer holds voltage regulation and output ripple below 1%. Earth leakage monitoring (OPS-02), DC earth fault detection and transducers with 0–10V / 4–20mA outputs (OPS-11) provide complete supervision, and dual DC UPS / dual battery charger arrangements with DC load sharing deliver the redundancy that transmission and distribution networks demand.
