24V Three-Phase Industrial Rectifier & Battery Charger (10A–2500A)
Overview
The Hannibal HR-3P-24V is a three-phase 24VDC industrial rectifier and battery charger that scales from 10A to a high-power 2500A, delivering large-volume, low-ripple DC for process industries, manufacturing and high-current control systems. The three-phase input balances the load across all phases for higher efficiency, smoother DC and a longer system lifetime than single-phase equivalents.
The HR-3P-24V is available in 6-pulse (B6C) and 12-pulse (B12C) thyristor-controlled topologies with DSP control, the 12-pulse option dramatically lowering total harmonic distortion (THDi) at the input. A galvanic isolation transformer and DC filter / DC shock provide effective ripple suppression and voltage regulation under 1%, while an optional harmonic filter cleans the supply further. Active parallel current sharing and a modular rectifier architecture — which by comparison offers a longer lifetime than conventional designs — let the system grow to thousands of amps while maintaining float, equalize and boost charging.
