Overview
The Hannibal HR-1P-48V is a single-phase 48VDC rectifier and battery charger purpose-built for telecom, data centers and server rooms where a continuous, uninterrupted DC supply is non-negotiable. Available from 10A to 500A, it acts as a compact DC UPS — rectifying single-phase AC to a stable 48V DC bus while keeping the standby battery fully charged, so connected loads ride through power interruptions without a break.
A galvanic isolation transformer and thyristor-controlled (B6C / 6-pulse) front end deliver low output ripple, effective ripple suppression and voltage regulation better than 1%, protecting sensitive communication hardware. Float, equalize and boost charge modes with battery temperature compensation extend battery life across VRLA, AGM, Gel, lead-acid and Ni-Cd chemistries from leading brands such as EnerSys and Exide. With RS232 / RS485 Modbus communication, optional CANBUS for current sharing and active parallel current sharing, the HR-1P-48V scales cleanly as telecom and backup-power demands grow.
