Overview
The Hannibal HR-3P-48V is a three-phase 48VDC rectifier and battery charger built for high-capacity telecom DC power, large data centers and server rooms requiring from 10A up to 2500A of continuous, uninterrupted DC supply. The balanced three-phase input enables high output power with high efficiency, making it the backbone of mission-critical 48V DC infrastructure.
Offered in 6-pulse (B6C) and 12-pulse (B12C) thyristor-controlled topologies with DSP control, the HR-3P-48V keeps input total harmonic distortion low and holds voltage regulation and output ripple below 1% through a galvanic isolation transformer and effective ripple suppression. Battery temperature compensation (OPS-06) and intelligent float, equalize and boost charging maximise the life of VRLA, AGM, Gel, OPzV, lead-acid, Ni-Cd and Li-Ion batteries from brands such as EnerSys and Exide. With a power factor of 0.9 to 0.99, active parallel current sharing and CANBUS for current sharing, it functions as a fully featured DC UPS and AC-DC converter.
